A mysterious virus has entered Limerick city and has infected society in two ways. It infects humans and infects the digital world; it is also a computer virus. It is a shapeshifting virus that needs human hosts to survive. It latches onto vulnerable humans and takes on their form and causes these humans to behave strangely. The genetic DNA of the virus is secreted onto the body of the host. This is made up of a blueprint of the space itself and the actions the host is performing.

The virus has manifested on our planet as it can see the consequences the technological age will have on society itself. This virus was created to crash all digital technology. It makes the humans who are consumed by this digital society interact with the structures around them. It makes them appreciate this urban jungle and the not the vertical worlds that consume them.

Maria McSweeney has managed to record some of the chaos that is inflicting the people in Limerick city. She has gathered information of the of the DNA structure of the virus itself to accompany the recorded footage. Due to the crash in digital technology this work can only be shown in analogue form.
